From 1 to 5 September, a five-day intensive Smart Agriculture training in Arbiis, Afgoye, brought together 40 participants from 20 local farms. Expert agronomists from Tacab Green Solutions coached farmers on shade-net nurseries to protect seedlings, drip irrigation to use water efficiently, best seed planting practices, and natural ways to protect crops from disease and pests.
The training combined short classroom sessions with hands-on work on a demonstration farm, including laying out drip lines and caring for seedlings in a nursery. Every participant prepared a plan to apply the new skills on their own farm. Read the full report in the Published category.
